AI in real work
We start with real roles, workflows and decisions. The aim is useful capability, not tool demos or hype.
ABOUT THE REMIX
The Remix runs practical AI events and programs for people who want to use AI well, build real capability and stay ready for what is next.
Born in Byron Bay and designed to travel. Our events help people get oriented and connected; our programs help them build practical skills and judgement through real work; our pathways connect that learning over time.
Choose the lane closest to what you are doing now. You can move between them as your work evolves.
APPLIERS
Start with an event, then build practical capability through a learning program shaped around real work.
BUILDERS
Join deeper events and practical sessions focused on what works in real use.
WHAT WE DO
Start with an event. Go deeper through a focused program. Keep building through a broader pathway.
Accessible sessions to understand what is changing, see practical examples and meet people working through similar questions.
Focused learning experiences that build skill, judgement and confidence through your own work, role or business challenge.
Deeper practical sessions for people building products, agents, automations and AI-enabled systems.
OUR APPROACH
Practical, human and designed for change that lasts.
We start with real roles, workflows and decisions. The aim is useful capability, not tool demos or hype.
AI capability grows through experimentation, original thinking and making something real, not passive consumption.
People learn and adapt better when there is enough clarity, trust and space to think. That is part of the design, not an extra.
ECOSYSTEM
The Remix connects learning and capability with implementation across a wider set of experiences.
Founder, The Remix
Michelle Williams is the founder of The Remix and The Signal Studio. She has spent more than 25 years working across systems, innovation, events and learning, helping people and organisations turn emerging technology into practical action.
The Remix is the learning layer: events and practical programs that build real AI capability. The Signal Studio is the implementation layer: strategy, workflow redesign and AI systems for teams and organisations. Together they create a path from learning to capability to implementation.
FAQ
Some events are free entry points. Paid events and learning pathways go deeper and include more structured, applied work. Each listing makes the format, commitment and price clear before you register.
No. Events happen across Byron Bay, the Tweed, the Gold Coast, and online. You do not need to be local to participate.
No. Applier events and learning pathways are designed for people who want to use AI well in their work without becoming deeply technical. Builder sessions go further into products, agents, automations and systems.
The Remix is the learning layer: events and practical pathways that build AI capability. The Signal Studio is the implementation layer, helping teams and organisations redesign workflows, choose the right approach and put AI systems into practice.
The Remix is built around shared practice and structured learning, not business-card swapping. Events help people understand what is changing and meet others working through similar questions; learning pathways help them build capability through real work.
